Cancellation Update

March 28

Hello church family,

Due to Covid-19 we are cancelled for the foreseeable future. We are praying that we will be able to get back together very soon!

Here is our worship set for this Sunday and the sermon can be found on our main page or under Media on Sunday morning. We encourage you to crank up the volume on your TV or computer and sing your heart out to our great and amazing God. Please take some time to continue to pray for our nation, our leaders (Federal, State, and local), our church body, and those who are serving on the front lines in this pandemic (police officers, first responders, health care workers, etc.).

Notes for the sermon are included under resources which is found at the bottom left of the sermon.

You are loved!

March 21

Greetings church family,

I love you and am praying for you as we look to navigate through the days that we are living in. It truly is a fluid and unprecedented time. A verse that has encouraged my heart this week is Psalm 118:24, which says, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Let us be reminded that none of this has caught our great and mighty God off guard. It did not surprise our King and He is working in and through it all.

Our leadership team (elders and advisory team) has decided to cancel church for this Sunday and for the foreseeable future. We are praying and our hope is that we will be back together in person very soon! We believe that God will use this to further His Kingdom, and we want to, in every way, demonstrate our love for the community we live in by restricting our gathering size. We do highly value the sanctity of life of all ages and we want to do what we can to demonstrate our care for those who are more vulnerable to this virus. Until we can worship together again, we will do all that we can to move forward with an online approach where possible.

For this Sunday, we would encourage you to spend time in worship, prayer, and listening to the Word. We have designed a set list of songs with lyrics on YouTube so you can worship at home. You can find that here: Youtube Please take time to pray for those around the world who are suffering, our nation, our leaders, our community, and our church. Our message will be posted on our website by Sunday morning and you can print off the notes at home and follow along.

If you have any prayer requests or praise items, please email sarah@harvestbing.org and she will relay them to our leadership team. If anyone is sick, please let us know. I would love to call you and pray with you.

I will send out an email early next week with more information concerning our small group gatherings.

During this time, consider how you can be a light for the gospel in your community. We live in a time where we can show great hospitality, generosity, and sacrificial love to those around us. Consider how you can serve those who are more vulnerable who live near you. Please continue to reach out to church members with a phone call, text, or email to encourage one another.

We also ask that you continue to be faithful in giving toward the mission. You can give online here

Let me end with Psalm 16:8, “I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.” He is our firm foundation! May we cling to Him and move forward in the confident hope that we have in Christ.

You are loved!
